Hey Guys I'm on the mend from my surgery, healing up well and feeling a lot better. Yesterday, I was given the "all clear" on a PET Scan which is used to determine if my cancer had spread to other parts of my body. Whew! That was a big relief. On Friday, I will be going to chemo education and I begin my chemo treatment on Thursday Feb 12. Karen and I have set up a web site where friends and family can lend a hand or just follow my status in support. Cancer update: I've had my second round of Chemo (2 of 12). So far things are going pretty well. I'm a little run down but otherwise feeling ok. Not too much nausea but having some other weird side effects like pins and needles in my fingers and feet. I'm hoping to make it to the next happy hour although I probably won't be drinking but it would be nice to get out.

Hey Eric thanks for thanks for offering to help out with BoulderBeat. I've had to scale back my efforts so any help is appreciated. What ning sites do you run? Have you had success in promoting them? how have you gone about getting the word out?

fyi - I've got round 5 of chemo coming up. It's long process but I'm hanging in there!

they take a lot of work and the ones that are really successful are growing because of the company resources we put into them - lots of e-mail promotion and websites that are 5 to 12 years old behind them. no magic bullets. I think you are doing pretty well. don't know how you manage to keep your Wikipedia link, that's impressive...
