Where is BoulderBeat Brian?
In case you were wondering...
During the past six months or so I have been having abdominal pain. Over time, the pain got increasingly more severe. On January 9, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. On this same day, I underwent surgery to remove the mass. Recovery has been very painful but I am coming around. I have to undergo surgery again today to have a port put in place for chemotherapy which will begin sometime in late Feb.
As you can imagine, this has been a very rough way to start the new year. The good news is that I have been told that the disease is very treatable. I am trying to stay positive and focused on getting well. I appreciate all the love and support that I have received from friends and family. It goes a long way!
As for BoulderBeat.com it will continue to grow on autopilot until I am well again and can give it more of my time and attention.

Geez, Brian! I thought you were just skiing or something. I had no idea that you were sick. I'm glad the doctors caught the cancer and that you are recovering. I will be sending positive thoughts your way. Get well, and I hope we will see you soon. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
