- I'm an 8 and I think the boots are an 8.5 so there is room for warm socks....not sure if it will work for you but you are still welcome to them.

- Snowshoeing will be fun....even if you have never gone before. As far a clothing for the day....it depends how cold it is...but snowpants should be a must. I always layer on top and pack a camelback....as for footwear, do you have waterproof boots? The snowshoes will go over them. If not I have a extra pair that would work....depends if they fit.

I'd love to grab a ride from you to go snowshoeing. My car really stinks in the snow....and you are more than welcome to use my extra pair of snowshoes. It will really be nice to finally meet some girls in Boulder. I have been here since June but work as a nanny which hasn't been great for meeting new fun people!
