Greenlight Radio isn't associated with KBFR -- or Boulder's third occasional techno-music pirate who pops up occasionally on 103.9 FM. (Talk about mystery voices; no one seems to know anything about this phantom.)
i think that's just fine for now.
AGAIN WE ARE DOWN DUE TO FCC INVOLVEMENT. WE WILL BE BACK UP SOON, IN THE MEANTIME FEEL FREE TO TUNE IN ONLINE AT WWW.GREENLIGHTRADIO.COM WE ARE STILL DOING SHOWS.
Green Light Radio is an underground platform for change. Our mission is to provide to the world a plausible demonstration of regional sustainability in the form of our city-state competently controlling our independent means of communication. GLR operates out of Boulder on the pirate frequency 95.3 fm from 4pm to 4am Monday through Friday and all through the weekends.
We are huge fans of this community and we are also very passionate about bringing power back to the peoples hands. KGLR believes that this community is worthy and responsible enough to take control of its local resources once again in the form of our local airwaves. The overbearing consumption of the radio market by larger umbrella corporations makes this task very difficult but we intend to take that challenge as we, being the true Boulderites we are, refuse to back down from our beliefs.
This is your station Boulder, because its your community. We want you all to know that and appreciate all constructive feedback to provide you with the best representation of local entertainment that we can. Thanks to Brian for creating a site like this so that the local community has yet another avenue of localization so as to provide a strong sense of unification and communication for all of us here in Boulder. Its exactly what we stand for. Thank You.Click Here To Listen:
