I do soft skills technical stuff -- training, project management, etc. Am kind of self employed and kind of other employed, and I like to geek out occasionally about open source software.
Otherwise, I love swing dancing, cards, indie movies, hiking, skiing a nice groomed blue. Unrealized hopes and dreams include that there is no professional competitive Taboo or Pictionary circuit.
I lived in Boulder/Pinewood Springs as a kid, then after many years in the Cold States, came back to visit a friend in Denver and thought, "What in the world am I doing not living here???"
When did you arrive to the Boulder area?
August 11, 1997
What do you love about Boulder?
The smell as you walk down the Pearl Street mall.
What is your favorite thing to do in Boulder?
So not able to narrow it down. My pre-moving-back-to-Boulder scenario was sitting in Bookends with a great book and a lemon bar.
I might show up for moral support but I'm completely uninformed when it comes to horror! Started the Rad Tech program this Fall so chances are I have a quiz or something due the next day...
Hello Solveig, Nice to meet you. If you'd like to learn, maybe we could do some training evenings. Another BB gal, Mary, just mentioned she also wants to learn. Email me at scott@braintoniq.com if interested and we can set something up. I live in North Boulder, out near Haystack Mt.

PS: and yes, we play Friday nights, about every 2 weeks. But these guys are brutally good, and we do play for small change (plus or minus $20 an evening), so I wouldn't want to unleash them on you until you had your chops down.
Hey, until I went to this "Star Trek Experience" in the Las Vegas Hilton, my claim to fame was that "I may be into SciFi, but at least I never dress up in a costume." I guess it's all downhill from here.
Solveig - I just got back from the South America trip. I do not know Beth Bartel.. who is she? Galapagos was Amazing, so was Peru and the trail to Machu Picchu. I did go to Telluride last year and am looking at tickets this year already! They go on sale in just a few days!
